Our state of the art heart center specifically designed to meet the needs of patients from around the world is right next to Pitt County Memorial Hospital which is the flagship hospital for University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Pitt Memorial is a regional resource for all levels of health services and information.




Pitt Community CollegePitt Community College
The mission of Pitt Community College is to educate and empower people for success through learning. Pitt Community College seeks to establish positive learning environments that encourage academic excellence for all students. In March, 1961, Pitt Community College was chartered and designated by the State Board of Education as an industrial education center. Today, Pitt Community College offers 44 associate degree programs, numerous certificate programs, 22 diploma programs, and 18 University Transfer programs. The College has expanded its instruction to include more than 200 classes via the internet, classes via the NC Information Highway, telecourses, and community-based classes
